On 6 January 2021, the government confirmed that in summer 2021, students taking GCSE, AS and A levels regulated by Ofqual, should be awarded grades based on an assessment by their teachers
As in 2020, the DfE will not publish institution level data based on 2021 AS levels, A levels, other regulated general qualifications, or vocational and technical qualifications. This data will not be available for others, such as Ofsted, Regional Schools
Commissioners (RSCs) or local authorities, to use to hold schools and colleges to account.
