2020-21 Primary Assessments Collections *Reminder*

To be completed by: Fri 23 Apr 2021

Time: -Fri 23 Apr 2021 | Venue:

Thank you to all schools who have completed the short Google Forms survey so far to let us know your thoughts around how we can work with you in this year’s results collection period. This is a reminder for any schools who have yet to respond that the survey will close on the 23/04/2021

For the second year, the DfE have cancelled all statutory assessment returns.

Guidance on Early Years Foundation Stage: 2021 early years foundation stage: assessment and reporting arrangements (ARA) - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)

Guidance on Key Stage 1: 2021 key stage 1: assessment and reporting arrangements (ARA) - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)

Guidance on Key Stage 2: 2021 key stage 2: assessment and reporting arrangements (ARA) - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)

This cancellation means that there could be a two-year gap in your school’s performance data, and that you are having to use data that is increasingly out of date.  Last year, Bradford, along with many Local Authorities across England, worked with our partner NCER (National Consortium for Examination Results), to offer a complementary analysis service to provide support to schools.

We are planning to offer this service again and we would initially like to understand the levels of interest from our schools.  Bradford Council will not charge you for this service. However, we will need you to send us your estimated End of Key Stage data.  We will provide templates and guidance to help you manage this process.

This service will support schools in their self-evaluation and will not be used for any form of DfE , LA or Ofsted accountability.

If you would, or wouldn’t, like your school to take part in this complimentary analytical service please complete the short questionnaire using the following link: https://forms.gle/9j28Ees4T8eCNNgM6

The survey will close on Friday 23rd April, after which we will send further details of the process, some of which will be based on your feedback.

If you have any questions regarding this service that we are offering schools, please email IMTAnalysisTeam@bradford.gov.uk in the first instance and a member of the team will get back to you.

We look forward to supporting your school this summer.
