With this year’s Rugby League World Cup, hosted in England, having a women’s tournament the profile of women and girls’ Rugby league will never be higher.
We want to leverage this to increase girls’ engagement in the sport in Bradford’s schools, culminating in a Bradford World Cup tournament where each school represents one of the nations participating in the World Cup. You could even link this into their
academic studies, encouraging them to find out more about the countries involved.
We can offer the following packages to secondary schools to take part:
Package 1 (6 weeks) - PE Development & Girls’ Rugby league team – Total £180
- 3 hours a week
- 18 hours for the term.
- £10 per hour (normally £25p/h)
Package 2 (6 weeks) - After School Girls’ Rugby League team - Total £60

- 6 hours for the term
- £10 per hour (normally £25p/p/h)
Package 3 (6 weeks) PE Rugby League Development – Total £120
