Times and locations for collecting materials for the Postcards from Home art project have been confirmed. The art project for children aged 5-18 who are currently home learning and have restricted access to the internet and their families is running in Shipley.

Postcards from Home is a hands-on arts project, using the home as inspiration.

The aim of the project is to encourage children and families in Shipley to produce creative and visual pieces of art based on their homelife during the periods of lockdown.

Children and families can make a creative response to their homes, which might highlight part of their home life. A snapshot of their lives. These responses can be made into finished pieces in paint, pastel, collage, photographs, or mixed media.

Have you or members of your family been learning at home, and/or have limited access to the internet?

Would you like to make a piece of art based on home as the inspiration to be included in a big display in Shipley?
