>DfE Wellbeing for Education Return training and resources were produced to support education staff to promote children & young people, teachers and parents and carers’ mental wellbeing and resilience.  You can now access the training videos for free.

The training was originally rolled out via the Mental Health Champions in September 2020, but schools may now wish to revisit it in light of the next pending ‘Education Return’.

Wellbeing for Education Return training is aimed at those education settings for children and young people aged 5-19, including academies, special schools, pupil referral units and alternative provision.

The training aims to help as many schools and FE providers as possible to provide wellbeing support for children and young people, preventing as many as possible from developing mental health difficulties and ensuring those with pre-existing or emerging difficulties access the right support.

It is fully funded by the Department for Education and Department for Health and Social Care and developed and delivered in close collaboration with Health Education England, Public Health England, and NHS England and Improvement.

To access the videos, please visit the Educational Psychology service page and purchase access to the videos (at £0 cost) and check it out of your basket.  Please then visit the Educational Psychology Service page where you should see a link to access the videos.  Please note that you will need to be logged into the site to view the link.

Once the school has purchased access, any member of staff can watch the videos providing they are signed in to their account.
