The packs contain socially distanced assembly scripts, lesson plans, home learning grids, a quiz and information about the farmers who are impacted by the climate crisis. The education packs for Primary schools and Secondary schools are packed full of fun, creative activities for learning at home or in the classroom. Everything is free to download. Find lots more free Fairtrade teaching resources on https://schools.fairtrade.org.uk

‘Share your vision of the world you want‘ project for young people between the ages of 5 and 25.

To celebrate Fairtrade Fortnight 2021, the Fairtrade Foundation is inviting young people to share their vision of the world they want for farmers and workers worldwide, and the planet we share. Please promote this. Details:  Click here for more information on how to get involved.

Two free online festivals for Fairtrade Fortnight

Please promote Fairtrade Yorkshire’s free, online “Fairtrade Connections” festival to staff and parents. The Fairtrade Fortnight festival includes children’s activities such as teatime cook alongs, a Fairandfunky creative workshop and a family friendly Fairtrade version of Taskmaster. The events will be via zoom and bookings can be made via the festival Eventbrite links on www.fairtradeyorkshire.org.uk

The festival has lots of other events for older family members such as Fairtrade producer talks, poetry, music and tours of craft workshops.

The Fairtrade Foundation is organising a free “Climate, Fairtrade and You” online festival for Fairtrade Fortnight. The details are on: www.fairtrade.org.uk

We hope the Fairtrade education packs and Fairtrade Fortnight events will be of interest, and inspire you to use and promote the new climate and Fairtrade resources in your school.
