Mentoring, coaching and masterclass support for aspiring headteachers

Are you an aspiring Headteacher, actively looking to move into headship in the next two years?

There is an opportunity for a small number of colleagues to have free mentoring & coaching support from an experienced Bradford Headteacher this year.

We have a very limited number of places available for colleagues who are aspiring to become a Headteacher - and who are currently working at a Bradford maintained school of academy - to join a Bradford Opportunity Area-funded programme for new Headteachers.

Bradford Birth to 19 Teaching School and Star Institute were commissioned to provide mentoring and coaching support for 25 colleagues 2018/19 – 2019/20, who are:

New to headship
Taking on a second or subsequent headship
Aspiring to become a Headteacher

Exceed Teaching Schools have received a complimentary commission to provide a programme of masterclasses over the same timeframe.

This programme has been extended to welcome a new cohort of colleagues.

This commission was made in line with the priorities of the Bradford Opportunity Area Delivery Plan:
