This Ofqual regulated 2 Day Paediatric first aid course is ideal for those who work or intend to work in a childcare setting as it has been specifically designed to fulfil Ofsted’s first aid requirements.
This Ofqual regulated 2 Day Paediatric first aid course is ideal for those who work or intend to work in a childcare setting as it has been specifically designed to fulfil Ofsted’s first aid requirements or early years teachers, nursery workers and childminders (as defined within the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage 2014 and within the Child Care Register guide). It is also ideal for parents, nannies and au pairs who regularly look after children under the age of 8, or those who are working towards an NVQ in Childcare and Education (Level 3).
Over a 2 day period, students will learn with the vital skills needed to administer safe and effective treatment when dealing with potentially life-threatening paediatric emergencies.What’s more, this course now includes infant and child AED use following the Resuscitation Council (UK) 2015 Guidelines update.
Session highlights:
Upon successfully passing the assessment you will receive a Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid. This Certificate is valid for three years and has to be renewed every three years by repeating the course. It is the responsibility of the individual and/or their manager to ensure that this requirement is complied with.
Please note:You must arrive at the venue for 9.30 at the latest, you must also stay the full duration of the courseas it is a HSE requirement that you have undertaken 13 Hours training prior to taking the assessment. If you arrive after this time you will not be allowed onto the course and may be charged the full cost.
Date/Venue:- 14th & 15th October 2020 - 9.30am - 4.30pm at City Hall, Bradford in the Banqueting Hall.
