Dixons Marchbank Primary School Time Capsule

As we welcomed children back to school this week, a time capsule containing news articles, personal memories, pictures and photographs collected and written during lockdown, was buried beneath a plaque in the school garden of remembrance today. The capsule will be dug up in 2040 to remember what life was like during these difficult, unprecedented times and to remember those lost to Covid-19. In 20 years time the children can study and appreciate their local and national history using real articles and memories of life during 2020.
