ONLINE TRAINING COURSES IN DOWN SYNDROME
We are currently delivering all of our training via ‘bitesize’ online sessions. Many of our courses have been split into one hour sessions enabling courses to be completed over several sessions.
Each session is one hour long and costs £5 for family members and £10
for professionals. When you book a course you will be registered for all sessions relevant to that course and if you are unable to attend the link to the recording will be emailed to you. Courses are:
· Including children with Down syndrome - an introduction (5 sessions)
· Signing and children with Down syndrome (4 sessions)
· Teaching basic number skills to children with Down syndrome using the Numicon approach, including time and money (4 sessions)
· The inclusion of children with Down syndrome - expectations of behaviour (4 sessions)
· Let’s make it visual — using visual resources to develop the language, communication and literacy skills of children with Down syndrome (2 sessions)
· ME, my body, my friends, my life - SRE and Down syndrome (5 sessions)
· Reading, Language Intervention for children with Down syndrome (6 sessions)
