Scheme extension - The cycle to work scheme window will remain open in the short term beyond the original end date of 12th June.  As we want as many staff as possible to have access to the scheme, we are aware some bikes are in short supply as national demand is currently high.  Cycling will form an important part of the national and districts efforts to get people to travel safely and socially distanced as the lockdown eases.

Following government advice on Covid 19 online bike retailers and bike shops can continue to operate, all Cycle Solutions couriers are still operating.

This means we are still able to offer the cycle to work scheme to our employees, it maybe that you want to take up cycling for your daily exercise or with the roads so quiet cycling to do essential shopping and when this is all over you can use it for commuting and leisure.

The good news this year is that we have increased the allowance to £2000, this will allow our staff to purchase more expensive bikes such as electric bikes.  It’s not just bikes that can be purchased sportswear, pedals, lights, panniers, safety equipment and much more is available so even those of you already with a bike may want to take advantage.

The benefits of the scheme is that the costs are spread across the year and deducted directly from your salary, and savings of up to 40% off the usual retail cost can be made.
