CEOP Command (Child Exploitation and Online Protection) is part of the UK’s National Crime Agency with a remit of pursuing and convicting online child offenders. Thinkuknow is an education programme full of resources and information for young people, parents
and educators and the Thinkuknow training is delivered by CEOP trained staff. This session gives a good insight into the Thinkuknow resources available from CEOP and an understanding of how are children and young people can be sexually exploited through online
interactions.
The session content includes 5 modules:
- An introduction to the work of CEOP and how to report to CEOP
- What are children and young people doing online?
- Online sexual abuse and grooming
- Nude selfi es and sexting
- Overview of the Thinkuknow resources for schools
In accordance with guidance from CEOP we only train cleared professionals who will directly deliver CEOP’s products and resources to children. Therefore, we request that all delegates accessing the training provide a signed, headed letter from a senior manager
in their organisation or an email from a member of SLT's school mail address confirming their employment at school and that they are DBS cleared - this should be forwarded to paul.scott@theinnovationcentres.com via
