Bradford Theatres are delighted that in Spring 2021 the RSC is returning to the Alhambra Theatre in Bradford with a new production of The Winter's Tale, Shakespeare's moving tale of jealousy, delusion and redemption.

Set across 16 years from Mad Men to the moon landings, the Royal Shakespeare Company’s The Winter’s Tale imagines a world where the ghosts of fascist Europe collide with horrors of The Handmaid’s Tale.

To support home learning, the RSC has put together a comprehensive activity pack to help everyone explore the world of The Winter's Tale at home. You can download the story, study the characters, and learn about the themes in the play. For younger children, there's colouring-in and fun Shakespeare inspired exercises.

A wealth of other resources for students of all ages can also be found on the RSC website www.rsc.org.uk

including live lessons, messages from RSC performers (including David Tennant of Dr Who and Broadchurch) and much more!
