Ofsted have announced that the 2019 secondary inspection data summary reports (IDSR) have been updated with revised key stage 4 data, destinations and data for disadvantaged pupils.

The IDSR service is linked to through DfE’s Analyse School Performance (ASP) website. When logged into ASP, click on ‘All reports’ and then ‘ Ofsted inspection data summary reports’.

If you have access to more than one school, you can also access the IDSRs through the Ofsted IDSR service.

Please ensure you download the latest version dated 25 February 2020.

Where applicable, the IDSRs hold:

  • final 2019 EYFS and context data
  • revised 2019 KS4 and KS2
  • data for disadvantaged pupils
  • two term absence
  • revised destinations
  • provisional 2019 KS5, KS1 and phonics data.

(The revised primary IDSR was released and dated 27 January 2020. A full refresh of all IDSRs with full year absence data is scheduled for late April 2020.)

Ofsted have published a new and improved HTML guidance document for the IDSR. This includes example reports and supporting data tables used for the 2019 IDSR which show national figures and quintile boundaries used to determine whether areas of interest sentences are triggered. Newly added links are now located throughout the IDSR, which take you directly to the relevant section of the full guidance which is located here.
