This is an exciting opportunity for teachers, educators and careers specialists to network with professionals from the digital industry.

STEM are hosting a completely free networking session which is a great opportunity for teachers and career leaders to:

• Speak with STEM professionals to get real life insight about digital careers that link with your curriculum.

• Learn more about the different career paths available to your students.

• Make valuable contacts across a range of digital industries and see how they can help you.

The session will be fast paced AND refreshments will be provided.

After introductions teachers will spend 5-minute slots rotating between professionals from a variety of digital backgrounds. Please bring some questions to help you work out the relevance of each of the STEM Ambassador volunteers to your curriculum area. There will be an opportunity for further extended discussion and questions during and after the session which will be followed by refreshments. Other Digital organisations will also be represented and you will be able to find out how you could work with them.

The event is for both primary and high school staff as well as staff who are involved with careers advice, student support and development.

The event is being held at the Leeds City College Printworks Campus on Hunslet Road.

Please share this information with your colleagues from other departments and come along to the event together.
