A chance to network and share good practice with other professionals including Speech and Language staff; nursing staff; Occupational Therapists; behaviour support workers; physiotherapists and staff from the Medical Needs Teaching Service.
Serving teachers will be offered one of three experiences– sensory / complex needs / PMLD; MLD or Autism
Agenda for the day –
9.15 – 9.30 Welcome with Bridie Dorning, Interim Principal
9.30 – 12.15pm Observations in class
12.15 – 1.15pm Lunch with host teachers
1.15 – 2.45pm Opportunity to speak with behaviour support workers, Nursing staff, Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and staff from The Medical Needs Teaching Service of Leeds.
2.45 – 3pm Plenary “Working in special schools.”
3pm Departure.
