Thank you to the 650 students from a range of schools from the district that have so far booked on to the careers fair at Bradford University Student Central on 4 March 2020.

457 students have booked to attend the morning session and so this is fully booked.

203 students have booked for the afternoon so if any school not already going would like to attend the afternoon session – can they please book by Friday 7 February.?

A briefing pack will be sent to all schools that have booked over the next couple of weeks.

The fair will showcase a wide range of careers opportunities open to students across the health and care sector in the Bradford and Craven districts.

The aim is to give children in school Years 9 to 13 (students aged 13- to 18) valuable information about careers and opportunities in health and social care.

The district has much to offer our young people - not just in terms of clinical, diagnostic and direct care roles - but in other areas such as community support, IT, research, business and administrative functions.

Careers Fair 2020 is organised by local NHS organisations, the Local Authority, the voluntary, independent and community sector, in partnership with Bradford College and Bradford University.

HERE is some further information about the event, including details of timings and how to book. If you have any questions about the event, please email
