Time: - | Venue:

Created for parents and teachers of 10–18-year-olds, this workshop will help grownups discover ways to support young people in making videogames.

This workshop is brought to you as part of our partnership with BAFTA Young Game Designers, a free initiative and competition that inspires young people to create, develop and present their new game idea to the world.

Learn tips and tricks on how to get young people interested in game concepts and game making. You’ll explore resources aimed at encouraging 10–18-year-olds to enter the BAFTA YGD competition, plus all the information they’ll need on the game design process.

You’ll also discover new ideas about how you can incorporate these plans into PSHE, Business Studies, Computing, English, Art and other subject lessons.

Free BAFTA resources and goodie bags will be available, and your ticket grants you free entry to our networking drinks event, taking place from 18.00 in the Games Lounge on Level 5.
