Developing Fluency Through Number Talks

This course will investigate the purpose and structure of number talks and consider how they can be used to improve the fluency of pupils’ mathematics. Teachers will explore the use of pictorial and abstract representations to deepen understanding, make connections and secure number sense.

This course will be lead by Mark Hattersley, NCETM PD Lead, Stem consultant and Assistant Headteacher in a Bradford Primary School
