We have been funded by the SHINE charity to work with families who either decline the two year old free education, or whose attendance is intermittent, to support the quality of the Home Learning Environment. Recognising that relationships are crucial to
families, we want to work in partnership with settings, schools and agencies to provide 4 home visits, a framework of activity using 50 Things To Do Before You're Five, access for families to free trips and experiences.
The project offers a free parent resource pack, regular meetings and access to free fun trips with other parents and their two-year olds. We also offer training for Family Support Workers, Parental Engagement Officers, Key Workers, Early Years Practitioners
and similar, from settings and schools wanting to utilise the offer to engage with families. The training session will be on the afternoon of 15th January.
