This interactive study day will help students prepare for GCSE Film Studies with expert advice, activities and resources.
This WJEC/Eduqas study day will focus on revising the core ideas and foci for GCSE Film Studies. Using a variety of films from across the syllabus as examples, the study day will allow all students
to benefit from revision techniques, analysis skills and activities, and participate in Q&A sessions to help clarify and cement ideas.
Students will receive guidance from an experienced examiner on areas of the exams including:
- Representation
- Narrative
- Film Style
- How to compare the American films on the syllabus
- A range of approaches to the Independent Film question
Students will also receive a range of take-home resources to use to revise and prepare for the exams.
