Winter is a prime time for illnesses to spread – particularly for children – which can affect their attendance at school. The NHS in Bradford District has produced a booklet to help parents / carers look after poorly children when they have a common illness like a cough, cold or upset tummy.

The ‘If your child is poorly’ guide has been produced by local GPs and gives advice about managing common illnesses at home and recognising when parents / carers should get further help from local health and care services.

Below is a short article about the guide - including a link to download a copy - to include in your school newsletter, add to your school website and share via social media.
