We will be doing maintenance to our website systems on Sunday, 31 January. Despite the ongoing situation with Covid-19 it is essential that we maintain the security of our systems. This will help us continue to deliver vital public health messages and information about council services via our website and allow you all to access our services using online forms. The work should be done with little disruption to you and any interruption should be short. If you do have problems accessing the site or something doesn’t work on Sunday, please try again later.
This course explores the recommendations from the Education Endowment Foundation Guidance report on how to improve behaviour in schools (EEF, June 2019). We will explore the approaches outlined in the report and what theory of behaviour management underpins these strategies.
This course explores the recommendations from the Education Endowment Foundation Guidance report on how to improve behaviour in schools (EEF, June 2019). We will explore the approaches outlined in the report and what theory of behaviour management underpins these strategies. There will be a tour of Swain House Primary school and time in classroom to observe outstanding practice. Delegates will participate in reflective professional discussion on what they have observed and how this relates to recommendations outlined in the EEF report. At the end of the session, course participants will have agreed what whole school and classroom strategies they can use in their own setting and plan how to implement these.
