We will be doing maintenance to our website systems on Sunday, 31 January. Despite the ongoing situation with Covid-19 it is essential that we maintain the security of our systems. This will help us continue to deliver vital public health messages and information about council services via our website and allow you all to access our services using online forms. The work should be done with little disruption to you and any interruption should be short. If you do have problems accessing the site or something doesn’t work on Sunday, please try again later.
The course provides an introduction to attachment in the classroom, trauma and loss, and explores theories by Louise Bomber and Helen Townsend to explore what survival looks like for children with SEMH.
The course provides an introduction to attachment in the classroom, trauma and loss, and explores theories by Louise Bomber and Helen Townsend to explore what survival looks like for children with SEMH. Delegates will examine how this theory has been used and adapted for use in mainstream classrooms in Cottingley Village Primary and also in the DSP for SEMH. The course includes some observations in classrooms to explore what strategies and provision are in place to support students and ensure that they feel safe. Joint professional reflection discussions will enable delegates to plan how strategies and provision could be adapted for use in their settings.
For more details or to book a place on any of our courses, please ring the Shanidar TSA office on 01274 779662 (ext. 199) or email Hina.Hanif@coopacademies.co.uk
