To be completed by:

Time: - | Venue:

This course is aimed at computing leads who want to review their Computing Curriculum schemes of work to ensure they cover all aspects of the National Curriculum Programmes of Study. Tim Bleazard will explore what mastery and working at greater depth would look like in your school setting.

The session will focus on how pupils can apply their skills and knowledge of the Computing Curriculum by purposefully using technology across the curriculum. Many of these opportunities will be related to using technology in Science and Maths.

The session will be predominantly ‘hands on’ enabling attendees to explore and develop a range of effective cross curricular teaching sequences they can use in their schools. We will utilise a range of free and commercial apps and online content available on most platforms including tablets and Chromebooks. We will look at how digitally created work can be stored and utilised to create a digital portfolio of work and explore how pupils can use technology to demonstrate their understanding of key concepts and explain this understanding to others.

All training is delivered at the Innovation Centre and the cost of this full day training course is £175 (£140 for Curriculum Innovation subscribing schools)
