We will be doing maintenance to our website systems on Sunday, 31 January. Despite the ongoing situation with Covid-19 it is essential that we maintain the security of our systems. This will help us continue to deliver vital public health messages and information about council services via our website and allow you all to access our services using online forms. The work should be done with little disruption to you and any interruption should be short. If you do have problems accessing the site or something doesn’t work on Sunday, please try again later.
We are offering two new multi-agency courses in relation to safeguarding disabled children
Having tried a few differing ways of training on the subject of safeguarding disabled children we have decided to offer a short 2 hour basic awareness course to those who do not primarily work with disabled children and then a half day advanced course – working in the margins aimed at those who have experience of working with disabled children. Below are the links to the flyers with further details on each. These as always will be multi-agency sessions.
Safeguarding Disabled Children – Basic Awareness (2 hour session)
Safeguarding Disabled Children – Working in the Margins (3 hour session)
(Please note - schools are classed as non-council employees when choosing the relevant link)
Published: 17/10/2019 Audience: Those who may work or are working with children with disabilities Contact: Rachael Hammond/Michelle Jones
