What: Burley Woodhead English Hub invites anyone committed to developing children’s desire, delight and engagement as readers to join our new OU/UKLA Reading Group. Informal, friendly and supportive we hope teachers, librarians and support
staff will join us and commit to attending all six CPD sessions.
We will be exploring the engaging resources on the OU Research-Rich Pedagogies free website and supporting members in developing their RfP pedagogy, knowledge of children’s literature and the children as readers, and enabling them to build reading communities
within and beyond school. Members of the group will conduct small scale research within their own school which will be published on https://researchrichpedagogies.org/
Where: Burley and Woodhead CE Primary School and other primary schools across Bradford
When: Wednesday 23rd October, Tuesday 26th November, Thursday 30th January, Tuesday 17th March, Tuesday 5th May, Wednesday 24th June
All meetings will be from 4 – 6pm
