Talking mathematically in Years 3 and 4 - through lesson study

The modules will look at different aspects of subject knowledge and will consider the mathematical language linked to the different subject domains. The participants will then work together to plan a lesson study style lesson that will be taught to a class of pupils during the day.

Each day will be lead by Mark Hattersley - Assistant Headteacher and Maths Leader at St Mary's & St Peter's Catholic Primary School, Bradford and an NCETM PD Lead

Audience -  Year 3 and 4 teachers, HLTAs, NQTs

Module 1 Multiplication and Division:   22nd October 2019 9.15am - 3:00pm

Module 2 Fractions: 13th January 2020 9.15am - 3.00pm

Module 3 Geometry:   19th May 2020 9:15am - 3:00pm

Where  - Parkland Primary School, Bradford BD10 9BG   (Lunch included!)
