The Holocaust Exhibition and Learning Centre is please to announce that eligible schools booking to attend one of our Active Learning Sessions are now able to apply for our Travel Subsidy Scheme. The scheme will enable schools to claim back up to £350 for
each coach or £200 for each minibus hired to facilitate the visit.
Based on the University of Huddersfield campus, the Holocaust Exhibition and Learning explores the breadth, impact and legacy of the Holocaust through the voices and experiences of sixteen survivors, all of whom eventually settled in Yorkshire. Our Learning
programme covers National Curriculum requirements for History, Citizenship, R.E. and Philosophy as well as supporting initiatives linked to SMSC and PREVENT. Active Learning Sessions are taught by our specialst teachers and are available for upper-Key Stage
2, Secondary, GCSE and A-Level students.
