In September 2019, Riddlesden St Mary's Primary School is going to launch a fundraiser called 'A Million pennies for One in a Million' (OIAM), but we would rather not do this alone and we are therefore looking for as many Bradford district schools to get involved as possible.

In September 2019, Riddlesden St Mary's Primary School is going to launch a fundraiser called 'A Million pennies for One in a Million' (OIAM), but we would rather not do this alone and we are therefore looking for as many Bradford district schools to get involved as possible.

All monies raised will go to OIAM who go out into areas of deprivation across the Bradford district (including Shipley and Keighley areas) and deliver community programmes and clubs for children. Most of these children will be attending our schools across Bradford.

You can get involved in a number of ways from just putting a collection box in your staffroom and/or school entrance so that staff, parents and visitors can throw in any loose change, to organising a specific fundraiser of your choice within school.

We also want as many local businesses as possible to get involved, so if you can't do anything in school, maybe you have suppliers or contacts who would be willing to take a collection box for their business or do their own fundraiser.

If you want to know more about the charity, their website is www.oneinamillion.org.uk (Just a note that whilst you may be aware or see on the website that OIAM has a Free School, any monies raised do not go into the school, but are all used to deliver the community programmes that the charity provide.)

If you are interested in being involved in this exciting opportunity, please contact Julie Hanson at julie.hanson@riddlesdenstmarys.co.uk

Thank you very much
