For the last year the Academy at St James have embraced Whole Class Reading with the help of Philip Webb as a whole school approach to the teaching of reading.
This course is designed to look at whole class reading and the benefits it can have for children.
This course looks at:
1. What Whole Class Reading is and how it is structured
2. The benefits to children and how to develop a love of reading
3. The impact it has had at St James and the opportunity to see live lessons as part of your CPD ( all course participanst will observe
whole class reading in action)
4. Resources and practical ideas tro support the teaching of reading
