Through Green Plan It, your students will have the opportunity to:
- Apply for funding to create their garden for real
- Compete against local schools for a chance to win a trophy
- Discover how plants and green spaces benefit people and the planet
- Develop their confidence, decision making skills, creativity and teamwork
- Learn about the wonderful world of plants
- Receive advice on designing a garden from an expert horticultural mentor
Over ten weeks in the autumn term, student teams will be paired with a horticultural mentor and challenged to design and build a model of a garden they would like to see in their school or community.
