Pilot for allocating Early Years Inclusion Funding to schools

The local authority will be implementing a new Early Years Inclusion Funding  model (EYIF) from April 2019. This will extend the allocation of EYIF to eligible 3 and 4 year olds with SEND in schools (funding is currently available for eligible 2 year olds in schools).

The local authority is looking for 25% of eligible schools to take part in a pilot after Easter. If you are a nursery school, primary school with a nursery or primary school with a nursery and 2 year provision then you can apply to be part of the pilot. Expressions of interest should be sent to earlyyearsinclusionfunding@bradford.gov.uk by 31/03/19. Expressions of interest need to include; name of the school and lead contact details; confirmation that participation in the pilot has been agreed by the school’s Senior Leadership Team. A representative from the school will be required to attend two meetings and contribute to the evaluation as part of the pilot.
