Blog - share your school's evidence-based practice

To be completed by: Wed 27 Feb 2019

Time: -Wed 27 Feb 2019 | Venue:

We'd like to invite schools to contribute to our The Evidence-Informed School blog and newsletter, sharing their high impact strategies with peers in other schools.

Do you or a member of your team have some great practice underpinned by research and evidence-based practice that you’d like to share with other schools? Since September, our Evidence-Based Practice Champions have digested research, summarised it and linked it to their school’s practice and development priorities. They’ve prepared blog posts and disseminated them via a brief newsletter: The Evidence Informed School. Every time we host an event or visit a school we always hear about the great work they are involved with; it would be wonderful to share this with more schools.

We’d like to extend the invitation to contribute to the blog to more schools where they can demonstrate a direct link between research (such as EEF guidance reports) and evidence significant measurable impact in their own schools (increase in pupil outcomes, improvements to the profile of teaching). This could be in relation to pedagogy, well-being and mindfulness in schools, leadership, teaching of early reading…you name it!

If you or a colleague would be interested in contributing, we’d like to invite you to a short meeting to explore the approach and blog post content. Colleagues can register via the link below.

It will take place 4-5pm on Wednesday 27th February 2019 at Holybrook Primary School, Bradford.

Book your place at this meeting here.

The Evidence-Informed School blog and newsletter is available here.
