Interested in a new challenge for 2019? Come along to our information evening to find out more about applying to be one of our new English Hub Literacy Specialists (fully funded at SLE rate). Wednesday 9th January at 5pm, Burley and Woodhead Primary (LS29 7RQ)

Passionate about early language development, phonics and promoting a love of reading?

We are currently recruiting for 5 Literacy Specialists to work as SLEs for the equivalent of one day a week (fully funded at SLE rate).  This will involve delivering showcase events and carrying out audits of reading provision from March 2019 and delivering 6 days of intensive school to school support in target schools from September 2019.

Burley Woodhead has been designated by the DfE as the primary English Hub covering Bradford, Craven, Richmondshire and Hambleton.  Our remit is to support schools in achieving excellence in early literacy, developing children who are confident, enthusiastic readers.
