Dinosaur Detective Workshop Offer at Cliffe Castle Museum, Keighley

We are looking for Reception and Year 1 classes to take part in funded Dinosaur trial sessions this half term at Cliffe Castle Museum.

Reception children will go on their own dinosaur adventure exploring basic features and sorting, including with real fossils.  Pupils will use special notebooks to draw their dinosaur findings, along with unique rubbings on their exploration throughout the museum.

Year 1 pupils will take part in a hands on and fun exploration of dinosaur features and classification using real fossil bones, teeth and even poo.  In specially created notebooks, using observational drawing and simple scientific language, children will communicate and record their ideas before putting their findings into practice to carry out their own dinosaur investigation, including on Bradford’s own fossil amphibian.

Places for all workshops will be offered on a first come, first served basis – for more information or to book please email learning@bradford.gov.uk

Workshops funded through Department of Education & Arts Council: Museums and Schools Programme.
