Artist in Residence at Undercliffe Cemetery

Debbie Sharp is the first ever artist in residency at historic grade 2 listed Undercliffe Cemetery and is looking for involvement from schools and colleges as her residency and project #hiddensuffrage develops.

In response to the environment, Debbie is also working with the archives and the social history collection at Cartwright Hall Gallery, Bradford. As artist in resident she will be exploring the secret and hidden women’s stories of the cemetery in connection with the 100 year anniversary of the 1918 representation of the people’s act and women getting the vote.

Her work is site specific and utilises the natural materials available.

There is a small teaching space available with fully accesible toilets.
