Mud Pie Arts in association with Bradford Libraries offer a FREE Jump Into The Story session exploring the book “Jack & The Flum Flum Tree” by Julia Donaldson.
Nursery age* children will have fun in this multi-sensory story session where they can build a boat, meet new characters, become the crew and solve problems along the way. They will be asked to use their imaginations, work together, advise Jack
and extend the story. The children (born Sept 2014 to August 2015) will also receive their BookStart Treasure pack.
The sessions are on offer at libraries throughout October 2018 including City, Shipley, Eccleshill, Manningham, Keighley & Ilkley Libraries.

Bradford Libraries are delighted to work in association with drama company Mud Pie Arts to offer these fun treasure pack gifting sessions for eligible children. *(Children born Sept 2014 – August 2015).
The sessions will start with A Jump into the Story event with Mud Pie Arts exploring the book ‘Jack and the Flum Flum Tree’ by Julia Donaldson. Join Jack as he bravely sails to the land of Blowyernose to find a cure for his poor Granny’s moozles. Can you
think quickly and help in times of trouble?
‘Don’t get your knickers in a twist, said Jack, Let’s have a look in the patchwork sack!’
In this fun, multi-sensory story session your children will have the opportunity to meet characters, build a boat, become the crew and solve problems along the way, using items from Granny’s patchwork sack. They will be asked to use their imaginations, work
together, advise Jack and extend the story. The wonderful picture book will be shared at the end of the session.
Mud Pie Arts have over 15 years experience of Storymaking with 3-5 year olds. They are based in York and work across Yorkshire delivering cross-curricular drama workshops (mudpiearts.co.uk)
Each session is suitable for Nursery children (born Sept 2014 to August 2015). The session is free of charge.
