Fairtrade Event for Bradford District Schools

Save the date: Fri. 2nd Nov. Fairtrade Bradford and Leeds Development Education Centre are once again bringing together schools from across the district to explore Fairtrade and encourage both pupils and teachers to take action for a fairer and more sustainable world.

 

Time: 1-3.30pm

Venue:  Hockney Room, Margaret McMillan Tower, Bradford, BD1 1NN

Event will include: Inspiration from a FairActive Fairtrade school. Focus on Fairtrade cotton plus a choice of interactive workshops, including Bala Fairtrade footballs from Pakistan, and Fairtrade cotton and Koolskools Fairtrade uniform. SMSC, British Values, Geography and PHSE. Information about the Fairtrade Schools Award and Fairtrade Fortnight 2019. Curriculum resources to take back to school.

 

Cost: £30 per school for up to 2 teachers and 6 pupils. KS2

Bookings will open at the start of the autumn term, 2018, via Eventbrite
