The Local Authority has launched a consultation revision / re-issue of the Scheme for Financing Schools, the Financial Regulations for Maintained Schools and Schools Contract Standing Orders.
The Local Authority's consultation can be accessed here. The summary document explains the consultation and the proposals. Some of these proposals amend the requirements / responsbilities that are placed on maintained schools in their financial management. The deadline for responses to this consultation is Friday 12 October 2018. This consultation wil be explained as part of School Funding Team's routine presentation to Business Manager, Governor and Headteacher groups early in the autumn term.
