Local Authority Commissioned Special Free School

Bradford Council is transforming SEND (Special Education Needs and Disability) across the district.

As part of our ambitious plans Bradford Council is developing a new SEMH (Social Emotional Mental Health) Free School, offering outstanding local educational provision and aspirational outcomes for children and young people.

The holistic whole life services will be underpinned by excellent education, family care and work-life support. Personalised therapeutic support will enable pupils to build confidence and emotional resilience necessary to realise their potential in all areas.

We are holding a Consultation and Information Event in Bradford to share our vision on the new LA Commissioned SEMH Free School.

Social care, CAMHS, Health colleagues and neighbouring Councils are invited to take part in the event.

Date:        Thursday 12th July
Time:        1pm – 3pm (Refreshments will be available from 12.30pm)
Location: Ernest Saville Room City Hall, Centenary Square, Bradford, BD1 1HY
