We will be doing maintenance to our website systems on Sunday, 31 January. Despite the ongoing situation with Covid-19 it is essential that we maintain the security of our systems. This will help us continue to deliver vital public health messages and information about council services via our website and allow you all to access our services using online forms. The work should be done with little disruption to you and any interruption should be short. If you do have problems accessing the site or something doesn’t work on Sunday, please try again later.
Mischief Makers Summer Reading Challenge 2018 starts Saturday 14th July - only 50 days to go. Please look out for your School Information Pack which will arrive in mid-June to your Literacy Coordinator. Now is the time to start encouraging your school to participate.
The Information Pack contains a photocopiable letter to parents; photocopiable summer activities booklet; key library contacts for arranging class visits; information on how the Summer Reading Challenge works and sample incentives and poster to use for display. You can also us the Schools Assembly Powerpoint attached. It can be customised to include the name of your local library. The start date is !4th July and end date is 15th September.
