Hello film lovers – bring your workmates, friends and family!

Bradford UNESCO City of Film and partners are delighted to host a delegation of film experts from China for events and discussions in Londond and Bradford. The aim of the week is to look at collaboration opportunities between UK and China film in the future and also see some great films.

As part of the week long events we are delighted to welcome Mr  Rao Shuguang –  Secretary General of the China Film Association along with Miss Li Chunli - screenwriter of this film.

A Peking family meets aupair - Film synopsis

Made in China, this film is about a 5 year old girl named Pipi who is brought up by two very different parents. Her overprotective mother who is concerned about money constantly and her father  who works hard but does not make a lot of money although he cares about Pipi and wants her to enjoy her life.

The film follows the hilarity that ensues when a Colombian female exchange student and her Chinese host family in Beijing constantly fall victim to miscommunication.
