health within schools by providing training, supervision and resources to schools.
Schools involved consistently rate their involvement in the project as good or excellent.
The project was recently highlighted in the local press for the positive contribution it is making locally
New opportunities to get involved:
The project is now able to announce the launch of its website which provides access to resources and information for schools, students and parents and carers.
Increase School Recruitment
The Government have clearly laid out in their most recent Green Paper on Mental Health for Children and Young People that they see schools as the front line of support with the intention that all schools should have a designated lead for Mental Health. The
Mental Health Champions project provides you with an opportunity to get ahead in meeting the ambition laid out by the government.
