We will be doing maintenance to our website systems on Sunday, 31 January. Despite the ongoing situation with Covid-19 it is essential that we maintain the security of our systems. This will help us continue to deliver vital public health messages and information about council services via our website and allow you all to access our services using online forms. The work should be done with little disruption to you and any interruption should be short. If you do have problems accessing the site or something doesn’t work on Sunday, please try again later.
The Council has been made aware that hundreds of schools nationally have received communication demanding $5,000 from veltpvp and making reference to a bomb threat. The advice the police and emergency planning team at Bradford Council have received is that these threats are a hoax and not credible
More information on this threat is available http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-43457548 If you receive a threat to your school and are concerned that this may be a real or immediate threat – then contact the police on 999 and the emergency planning team at Bradford Council by calling 01274 432000 and asking for the emergency management team.
