Safeguarding Hub - EVACUATION,INVACUATION,LOCKDOWN seminar and workshops

In response to a need identified on the 175 audit we have managed to arrange for the delivery of Evacuation, Invacuation and Lockdown training. The training will take place at Ingrow Primary School, Keighley, on Thursday 19th April between 9.30 am - 12.30 pm, at a cost of £50 per participant.

Presented by Adam Varley, this seminar and workshop has been designed to give guidance to schools in managing a potentially violent or dangerous situation in or around the school premises.

The session will include:- 

  • Invacuation (including Lockdown)
  • Evacuation for reasons other than Fire (including silent evacuation)
  • School Site Security
  • Workshop scenarios which may require invacuation/lockdown and/or evacuation
  • Q & A session

The content of the above seminar and workshop has been developed in collaboration with the following parties – Bradford Council, Calderdale Council, Kirklees Council, Leeds City Council, Wakefield Council, West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service, North East CTU and West Yorkshire Police.
