Tour de Yorkshire 2018 route details announced

Amaury Sport Organisation (ASO) and Welcome to Yorkshire have announced the Tour de Yorkshire will visit the Bradford district twice in 2018. Posters are available to start building excitement.

The four day race is from Thursday, 3 to Sunday, 6 May 2018. Each stage has a theme: arts and culture, Yorkshire heritage, market towns and Yorkshire terrier.

On Friday, 4 May the Cow and Calf Rocks in Ilkley will be the finish line for Stage 2 of the race. This is the 'Yorkshire heritage' stage, which will also take in the likes of Conisbrough Castle and Harewood House.

Then on Sunday 6 May the world famous Haworth Main Street will feature in Stage 4 of the race - the Yorkshire terrier route. This is the decisive final stage featuring undulating terrain and six categorised climbs.

Let's drum up anticipation for the Tour - posters, leaflets and car stickers available

If you could display a poster in your school, or take leaflets and/or car stickers please email alice.marshall@bradford.gov.uk with what you would like and she will arrange for some to be delivered (or you can collect from Margaret McMillan Tower).

Don't forget to include your contact details and please? let us know where you will be displaying the publicity. Thanks!
