Title                

The Individual Curriculum and Deafblind/MSI Students

Description of training

  • Supporting access to learning for the Deafblind/MSI students.
  • The importance of the individual curriculum to Deafblind/MSI students and the role of the Intervenor.
  • The design and use of individual daily tactile timetables.
  • Designing and implementing a model individual curriculum and tactile timetable.

 

This course would be complemented by participants attending other courses including:

  • Deafblind/MSI Awareness
  • Tactile Communication

Teachers of Deafblind/MSI students and Intervenors providing individual support to students with dual-sensory impairment
