WOW
- Women Of The World Festival Bradford is holding a Schools Day on Friday 17 November from 10.00am to 3.00pm at Kala Sangam for Bradford secondary school students in Years 10, 11 and 12.
Although
the Schools Day is part of the festival, it is not open to the public and is specifically designed to
encourage girls and boys to experience a taster of the Festival.
This year the Schools
Day features Radio 1 DJ Gemma Cairney in Conversation and model and activist Harnaam Kaur. There are also workshops and mentoring sessions - all of which are designed to be interactive and empowering. There will also be a Marketplace with stalls, glitter face
art stencilling, food sellers and gift stalls to explore in the lunch break. Pupils are expected to bring their own lunch, however there is food available to buy from the Rooftop Cafe located within Kala Sangam.
The offer is extended up
to 25 students from your school.
Please see the attached booking form.
If you’d like a member
of the Women Of The World Bradford team to come into school in the weeks leading up to the Festival to speak to the students about WOW Bradford, then we are more than happy to do so.
If there's anything
else that you'd like to know or if you'd like to have a more detailed chat about the day, then please feel free to email or call 07544850953.
