Planning Whole School PSHE Curriculum Using the PSHE Primary Scheme of Work: You, Me, PSHE

Time: 09:30 – 15:30 (registration from 9:15)


Who should attend? PSHE leads and coordinators and teachers working in the Primary phase or equivalent

Cost: £199 per delegate


This training course is perfect for anyone planning or updating PSHE education lessons, at key stages 1 and 2, using the primary PSHE scheme of work: You, Me, PSHE. It will support the implementation of the new scheme of work, including how to plan, teach and assess the units effectively in your school. Delegates will also have to opportunity to view and use various resources linked to the scheme as well as having time to start planning using the scheme on the day. NB. This course is suitable for schools who have bought the new Primary PSHE Scheme of Work (You, Me, PSHE). Delegates are asked, where possible, to bring a fully charged laptop and scheme of work CD with them on the day to enable them to start planning.

  • Increase confidence in using the scheme through practical activities and use of resources
  • Develop an understanding of the range and type of assessment included in the scheme
  • How to personalise the scheme for your children and community, ensuring it is needs led and age appropriate
  • Update on the latest developments in PSHE
  • Opportunity to view new resources around Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE), Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and Prevent, Extremism and Radicalisation
